Mobile Tradition does more than you might think. The parts CD-ROM they've put out does have it's limitations, but BMW are producing a suprising number of those parts (albeit mostly in the Czech Republic). For instance, BMW are producing 3.0 exhaust systems right now (I bought one), and I understand you can order a new entire CS unibody tub for around $25K. As far as factory restoration goes, it's one thing to have Daimler-Benz screw that half-million dollar gullwing together -- I'm not sure I'd want to foot the bill for BMW to reassemble a CS that wouldn't re-sell for more than 30K.
