I must give a positive shout out to the parts people at manhattan bmw, i went thru almost every number in the parts catalogue to see about the availablitity of what is and what isn't available anymore while restoring my coupe, and the guy's were and are great, some parts were nla, but different warehouse's had a stored inventory on some items, especially in cananda so they got me whatever they could, i really appreciated that, i gave them a number and they went to the secondary computer system and it tell's you have many actual pieces are in stock , the one at the counter's basically have 1982 and newer vehicle's info our car's are on own bmw microfiche and half of them are lost or new part's guy's can't even work the machine.....sad ,, but true the younger guy's knew nothing about a 3.0cs model's they kept trying to tell me i had 320i,but the older gent's knew alot about our car's,, hey i'm proud of my cs and i got a foto of my polaris '72 on the board, posted it about two weeks ago.In reality we can improvise, and get around most minor obstacles such as the dealer's.
