I have Koni's on my 73 3.0CS. Euro spec springs.

Truth be told, I prefer the stiff feel of Bilsteins over the slightly mushy feel of the
Koni's. Do the Koni's stink? Nope. I simply prefer
a high pressure "gas" feel over a "hydraulic"
feel.

This is my first use of Koni's.

I have driven E12's, 02's (sports), E21's, and E24's with Bilsteins. Moreover, I never drove
my CS with either stock Boge or Bilsteins so
I can't comment about their affects on CS handling.

Have I adjusted the Koni's? Nope. Could they be
much better? Sure. Would I swap them for Bilsteins
HD's at no charge and no labor? Yes, if only for the experience. Bilsteins are good out of the box
(once warm)

I am replacing the center link on my car which
well improve some of the vagueness that I have been experiencing.

Marty
