Depending on what springs you are running, I would suggest stiffening up your Konis by adjusting the valving. This will give you a stiffer feel than any Bilstein if you want that. I personally purchase Bilstein Sports for my E28 and then after 8k miles found that the front upper seals were blown and then put in Konis and I would never go back. Once you adjust them and tune them to where you want you will see what I am talking about. But until then, I agree that the Konis are not as stiff as the Bilsteins, but they are not designed to be, that is why you can make them stiffer by adjusting them.
