I guess you are missing the 2 after the 6. Your VIN should be 2262327. My car (72 CSi was imported from Italy its VIN is 2262349.
Enjoy your car, I have owned since August and already put a five speed in. It had a pertronix and spin on filter when I bought it. Won't find a better driving car! (thats also 30 years old)Enjoy!


What's the recommended electronic ignition upgrade for e9's, pertronix, allison/crane? And, where can it be had at a reasonable sum. Just bought a 72 csi (needs tons of work!), I'll post some pics for those who like to look. I'm pretty sure the car lived in Italy for a while, the vin is 226327.
