The real question is what are you going to do with your head? I've been debating this for almost a year now. I want to do the same thing you're doing but don't want to put one in place of the stock unit. Are you going to go under the rear seat? If so, how?

Evidently these cars came with antennas stuck everywhere. Most have a cowl mounted antenna, some have a pillar mount (like my 74). I guess the antennas were added on here after they arrived here in the states and they stuck them wherever based on the antennas and not the cars.

Since there isn't anything worth a damn on the airwaves (near Atlanta anyways) I'm figuring on just doing a CD player and blowing off radio entirely. Only problem is, you can't get just a CD player anymore for cars.
