Now I am really confused! My car was a German market car so that could explain the lack of an antenna. I think that the radio in the car is not the original, it is a Blaupunkt so it could be but there is no way to tell, except it looks funky so it was probably installed in Germany.

I am just going to jerk it out and I also have a FM modulated CD player to install in the trunk. What do you think about putting an antenna in the trunk horizontally mounted against the back of the back seats. I hate to drill a hole in the fender to install a vertically mounted one. Mind you if there was a spec as to one and the correct placement I might give it a go.

Since you brought up the back seat, I have a question. Under the passengers rear seat is a electrical box with wires going to it. Any idea what it is?

Regards,
Troy
