It sounds like everyone thinks I should put it in the fender. Do you have any idea how far from the window I should install it?

Where should I get an antenna that would match the car. Should I just get what is out There new?

Thanks
Troy

The workshop manual for E3&E)(coupe) only show telescopic antennas, either manual or electric, all installed in the left front wing
Mearusr from the top of wing/edge of door, but from the fenderside(was that to understand) 380mm towatds the front of the car, then from the inner edge of the wing, 35mm outwards, towards the wheel. this is according to workshop manual.if this was ackward, let me know, and i will try to scan the page from the manual and mail to you

Thanks, this sounds good. I dont think it would matter if I was off by a mm or two.

Any idea where I can get an electric one.

Troy
