I remember seeing someone, a long time ago, trying to sell a process to make convertibles from coupes. It was, as my foggy memory describes it, a complete "system" to do the conversion. I never knew if anyone ever bought the business, or not.

This is one of the very few convertibles that were made on the basis of the E 9 - beautiful and unique.
To my knowledge, not more than 10 such cars were made worldwide -
but I don't have any figures from the US.
Can anybody contribute to the assessment ?
