the 850 wheels do look good, what did you use for tires. i'll check the vin for my 71 euro Cs, our cars may be brothers - currently under restoration, one side complete - origninally restored in Germany, those Germans had very strange sollutions to their problems...

try this link for a view of the car with 850 wheels on it. in real life it looks narly but still classic. i am impressed with the way the 850 wheels suit the E9 body.
