The leather in our CS's are painted. You can buy refinishing materials and just remove the tan paint and repaint in black. I know this sounds weird, but trust me. Have you ever look at the backside of your leather? You will find that it is natural (i.e. no color). The paint is a water based enamel with plasticizers (sp?) added. Application is with a conventional spray gun.

If you decide to go this route, it is a good time to fill, yes fill, any cracks in the leather (there is a product designed for this purpose).

I am wondering where I might attain CS panels and leather in Black to change the inside of my 73 coupe from tan to black? Does anyone know the cost involved?

Thanks

Jason
