Similar system to what was used on the M1. They used belt driven pumps and injectors set into sort of a velocity stack on each throttle body. They may have been slide throttle also, but I'm not sure on that. Those systems and parts arem, of course, very rare and really only suited to race cars.

i don't know anything about the particluars, but yes it is true. only on some of the racecars.

according to this link, they were on group 2 race cars in '73
