I installed one a couple weeks ago. It was easy. I did have to grind the plate under the pickup as there were crimps in the distributor plate that protruted up a little bit and made an interferenc. This made it so I couldn't get the tab down in the point pivit hole. Once I did this I just hooked the wires up. I didn't remove the balast as I wasnt sure what the instructions ment.

However before I could barely get the car to run in lower rpm rand. Now I can get rubber in the first three gears. What a difference.

I was going to retime the car but it runs strong. It would be a good idea though.
