Don't rush in buying your coupe. Give yourself sometime and when you see the one you want, then get it. The pre-74 or euro coupes are more desirable because of their small bumpers and a more classic look. I would stay away from the modified ones with the bigger engines and tranny conversions and all. As you may have noted in the ongoing dialogues here, rust is your biggest enemy so be wary and on the lookout. The strut towers, inside fender wells, spare tire compartment, are the most common places. Also, the sunroofs tend to leak so check that out as well if you are looking for one with a sunroof. There have been several coupes in the bay area that I looked at a few months ago. I'm not sure if they're still around but I can forward info if you email me.
