The lights on the console indicator are out, plus my back-up lights don't work, I suspect the transmission switch. Check all fuses are OK. I'm right?

Yes I think so, I have same problem but I was told the switch in the transmission that operates the lights is more than US$300 -- so I have put it well down the list of jobs to do.
