Merdad,

You can do it! Look, I send out a notice for a nice morning meet, morning drive, lunch, and short afternoon drive, and crazies like Dave and Andrey are crossing state lines to get here!

Up here in the rainy Northwest, the only thing we've done out of the ordinary is to combine Coupe and Bavaria forces. This makes for a nice sized meet, somewhere around 10 to 15 cars usually. And that is a nice size because you get to meet everyone, spend time ogling their cars, and hear everyone's stories.

There were more than 35 cars (1970-2001) at the Puget Sound club TSD rally I attended last Saturday. From the standpoint of a social event, it was too big. I really only got to talk with 5 or 6 of the teams.

So, think small, keep it simple, and if only 5 cars show up I can guarantee you will make at least 4 good new friends.

Gus
