While the "L" in CSL stands for lightweight in any case, not all CSL's were Bats. The differences were engine size, a full complement of lightweight doors and panels, and whether aerodynamic devices were supplied. Most CSL's were made to order, so it's difficult to pin down what makes a "standard" CSL. '72 and later CSL Bat and non-Bats (AKA "homologated") were differentiated by VIN. yes!!!
