so, my wife (who won't ride in the trunk) said - why doesn't this poor guy just go to the next BMW meet and get everyone to try their keys. we have found that sometimes, other e3/e9 keys will fit... age i guess.


I purchased a 1971 2800CS which only has the "valet" key. The trunk is locked. Both the local BMW dealer and locksmiths seem unable to help me. I need a way to:

1. Get into the trunk
2. Make a new key or instal a new lock/key

Any ideas? Please help... Thanks!!!
