A sunroof is the only thing that those drain tubes are for. I made sure mine were clear, and sure enough, that's where the water came out.

Most U.S. spec coupe (if not all) "factory" sunroofs were done by a company in the states. So it's not as if the factory would put the tubes in all cars for production line commonality.

Maybe your car got a new top clip without a sunroof somewhere along the line. Wild guess...
