Auto transmission (archive)

I have a 3.0csa that needs the automatic transmission fluid topped off and I'm thinking of adding "slick 50" AT booster.
1) I have original manuals in german and english for a 2800 and a Bently manual. Neither states where to add the fluid. Where would I do this, in the "dipstick" funnel?
2) Is the "booster" recommended for smoother shifting?

Thanks for the help.
Also, I relocated to the Durham area and need some interior work done. I see from another post a local person who does maintenance but is there anyone to replace the leather in the area (other than Korman in Greensboro)?
