Some remarks and a short feedback after having checked my CSL files : last time I heard something about 2275 157 was in the late 80's. The owner was Frank Baroudi (the 1st owner?)and the car was for sale at 26,000$. In the mid-80's the car was for sale in the Roundel. Some remarks now : the front seats are not original, the side mirrors are not original, the steering-wheel is not original, unfortunately the carpets are not the light & black CSL version but the grey (stock) CS version. A quite disturbing element definitely is the sunroof : I never heard of a CSL equipped with a sunroof (I mean delivered with a sunroof by the factory). All the cars with sunroof have been modified afterwards. Furthermore I have an original BMW memo (1973) where it is clearly stated that it is impossible to order a CSL with sunroof due to the thin gauge roof. (Sunroof NOT available for the 3.0 CSL). This car would be the only exception I know (maybe with some 2285xxx RHD CSL's ? as 2284 xxx RHD CSL's all are "Town-kit" cars with AC etc...). Despite these elements the car looks in good condition and has a low mileage. Chrome bumpers front and rear as well as steel doors do not have a particular meaning as they belong to the "town-kit" package and each CSL was different...(this is anyway, my very private point of view, an element that definitely reduces the value of a CSL as it does not stick to the initial CSL philosophy...But everybody knows it in this board : unless speaking of a very special kind of CSL I definitely would advise to see the car prior to buy.
