what about the hole that the windshield wiper motor wiring comes through? On my car it looks like there's room there. It is right behind the wiper motor area and goes into the left-hand wiring compartment.

I'm trying to route two wires for a gague installation through the firewall into the dash area. Is there a preferred location for this? I don't want to drill a hole unless there is no other choice. I tried pushing the wires through some of the grommets for other wires/hoses but it hasn't worked yet.

Any tips? It's a 73 3.0CS
