I have seen several CSi's in excelent (but not show car) shape here at 15-16k. 10 may be a little low for a euro car in great shape, though I've seen that too. try adding 5k to your budget and see what you can get. myabe the market in CA is better than elsewhere.

I've been lurking here on the forum, looking at every so-called decent coupe within 1000 mi and have NOT found one decent car to buy for around $10,000!

I am just looking for a very nice driver with good paint, no rust (or properly repaired rustwith documentation photos),a nice interior, and excellent mechanicals; not a show car.

I am NOT saying one should cost $38K, but I do know that $10K is less than most decent ones go for. THAT would be a bargain.

I WOULD blanche at $14K for a fixer-upper, though. Fixable coupes (those with non-terminal rust)but needing almost everything else seem to go for $5-7.5K from what I've seen.
