I had purchased a csl airdam and chrome wheel arches from this guy. First, I asked how much a csl airdam was (his ad at the registry stated
$200.00) he said he would have to check his ad. He later told me due to materials costs,
the price was now $225.00. I agreed and also ordered a set of csl chrome flares. I got them, but they were destroyed during shipping. I think
that they would have made it if packed properly. He packed the parts in a box with only the thin air in which he lives. Then blames UPS.

So, I sent them back he filed a claim whith ups to pay for the damaged goods. Dan was going to send me replacements as soon as he had them.

Here now is where I made a big mistake. During the period between Dan recieving the busted up parts, I struck a deal with him to trade the
(perfect) bumpers from my car for a batmobile wing and fiberglass rear bumper plus $300.00 more of my money.

I took several pictures of them, he looked at them of course and nit-picked them. Keep in mind I made no attempt to hide any of the blemishes on
either bumper. Dan ultamately agreed to this deal.

"Below is what he said about the bumpers after looking at the pics:Got the pix, doesn't look too bad, but certainly not perfect. Looks like the rubber on the left bumperette is separating from the chrome. Do you have the rubber and metal strip that poprivets to the bumper and holds
the rubber? How about the front, rubber and strips?"

Dan

I packed up the bumpers and sent them to him. Almost two weeks later this is what he had to say:

Finally received the bumper brackets. Since receiving the bumpers I have been trying to decide what to do, return them or renegotiate teh deal. I CANNOT IMAGINE anyone even considering describing these things as perfect, as you did. They are not even USABLE without being replated.
The front has extra fog lite holes drilled in the center section, and I already have dozens of centers like that I cannot use. The rear has
been SAND BLASTED!! Obviously, someone sandblasted the car without removing the bumpers. This could not have happened naturally, it had to have been done as the result of sheer neglect. I have to spend $300 to replate the rear, which of course, increased it's value, so I don't expect you to pay for all of it. If you want to send me another $175 I will send all your wings and things, otherwise I will return your old crappy
bumpers. This is a very unusual situation, I make the deal based on your description, and obviously, the pix you sent did not show the full
extent of the damage. I do not reneig on deals, but you did not fully disclose the true condition of the bumpers. THey are NOT worth the $750
allowed for them, or anything close to that.

So basicaly, he pissed at me for trying to sell him crap?? The airdam he sent me would have needed at least 3 hours of work just to get it
ready to be primered. I told Dan to send me back my bumpers and my money. I havent gotten neither yet (I should be getting them a couple of days}.

Here is what he had to say after I told him to send back my parts and money, and that the parts that he made were just as "crappy" as my bumpers
were: Not half as sorry as I am - you are not an honest person, MOST of the parts cars I buy have better bumpers that the crap you sent. Perfect -
that means you would display them on a restored car, right? Bullshit.
I sent the parts since I had them all packaged anyway, and knew you wouldn't be honest enought to acknowledge the bumpers were crap. DO NOT
contact me for parts again, you are OFF the sell to list permanently.
