i think max's prices are just fine. No worse than the other typical sources like CNPR. i have no beef with their prices.

my complaint would be with BMW for not making for parts available. like, for instance, horsehair padding for an E9.

compared to mercedes oldtimer center, BMW's mobile traditions is really quite poor.

i love how BMW now SELLS its "certificates" to show the original city of delivery. mercedes will do that for FREE, plus they'll tell you exactly what equipment the car came with, down to the tires.
