If your dash wood (the wide veneer on the vertical surface) isn't delaminated, only slightly warped and needing refinish in the corner where the glass gasket leaked, I think you can wet it with HOT wet cloths or a sponge, and press/hold it in position until it dries. Lightly sand to remove flaking finish, and recoat it.

I removed the door trim, stripped it with paint remover and refinished it with several coats of satin polyurethane and it looked quite decent.

The veneer on the plywood trim is VERY thin, so be careful if you sand it at all. I used 220/320 to lightly sand after stripping it and it worked OK.

just thinking about removing the dash wood panel makes me sick, however.

the sides aren't such a big deal though.

I have the typical sun/water dammage on the corners of my dash wood trim, it would be great to get it redone.
