I found CS #2240133 in local wrecking yard way in back been there a while. The interior is almost totally gone as well as the webbers that used to be there. The trunk lid is in good shape ,but the front end is mashed a bit. Over all this car could be put back together over time and might be worth it since the vin number and the engine number are the same.

Sorry about the time lag on getting back on the CS, the car is in a wrecking yard in the Denver area i returned for a second look ,while i was looking for some Mercedes coupe parts as i have both a 72 CS Vin #2240235 and a Mercedes coupe a 280 CE with a great 2.8 liter twin cam straight six ,a very nice car. The coupe in question is almost exactly 100 cars from my own when in production ,after a second look the car has the whole drive train intact , the body from just before the front doors to the rear is in good shape straight and no rust, there is no sunroof, no rear glass ,no front glass , no hood, no instruments, no dash but the metal support is there for one. I'll get the name of the yard in a few days and post it.
