Perhaps Paul will respond directly with more info. Here is waht I know based upon emails that I swapped with him.

Paul took an old 6 series spoiler and after cutting, modifying and plastic welding it back together, he came up with what you saw in Roundel. He estimated 30 hours of labor were involved. I like it better than the CSL version as it is a bit more subtle and less boy racer in apperance.

There are sources for the CSL-like spoilers and they were recently discussed here. If my memory serves, they run about $200 (plus shipping) ready for final paint.
