Parts car $ ??? (archive)

A friend of a friend is thinking of parting w a coupe. I don't have specifics nor have I seen the car. It is located in the Boston area, so I am assuming that it has some degree of rust.

Does the car have much value as a parts car, or should I avoid the entire mess completely?

Is it realistic to think I could get the thing running for a summer or 2 without doing a restoration??

What are the known rust areas and which areas would render the car undriveable???
