Mine did the exact same thing so I used epoxy
(J B Weld) to reassemble the broken part and then reinforced the joint with aluminum...
So far so good.


Has anyone tried successfully to glue a broken plastic CS trunk-lid tookit? Mine just came back from the mechanic with the latch broken off. I suspect someone was curious and clumsy. He has offered to replace it, but I would like to try to repair it if possible.

What kind of plastic is it? What kind of glue will work?
