I've never understood why anyone would attach any significance to a car's "extraordinary provenance" as the ad puts it. What's important to me is how the person treated the car, not who the person was or is.

It is a beauty. I wouldnt' be surprised if the reserve is over $20K, since many people do think a famous person's car is more special.

Blue chip investment? Probably for the current owner.
