As far a a mechnic in SF. there's one in berkely which i would recomend who specializes in 02's and cs coupes, Moran Motorsport, ask for Steve Moran, he's great! i have been taking my '73 cs coupe there for the past 5 years and they have good personalize service and good advice, and he also owns a cs coupe too!

Great Pictures!

I'm a 23 year old San Franciscan about to buy my first CS (thus fulfilling a life long dream)and was hoping someone might be able to provide me with some advice on two matters:
1. Can anyone recommend a solid CS mechanic in the SF area?
2. Is it better to buy a $7k range CS expecting to committ $3k extra to it? Or is it better to buy a $10k one (assuming it is even possible to decipher whether the price is proportionate to the condition)?
Thanks for the help
