Just off the top of my head... What about using the motor mount brackets (the ones that mount on the engine block) from your original 3.0 on the new engine? At least measure the 2 sets and see if anything is different. For the driveshaft, I used an auto driveshaft for my 265 conversion (in about 1987) and had to pull the front section out on the splines to get it to fit. I was worried about how this would hold up (this car has a 230HP Korman stage 2 engine), but it has survived many years and I have autocrossed it several times. I have a later fan/clutch, but I think it is a bolt-on. There is only about 1/2" clearance from the radiator. I believe my radiator core is in the center of the side tanks.
