hmm... looks like a stock E3/E9 SR with the grip wood-covered and the horn buttons taken out... weird. I do not think this was an option, justa funky modification.

nope andrey, it's not a modified wheel it's stock, although I can understand from the foto why you might think that. The three arms are metal, where the wheel type you are thinking of is thermalite (plastique/bakelite junk) The wood-rimmed metal three-spoke is a really pretty wheel, and fairly uncommon. Most of the three-metal-spoked wheels were leather covered grips.

Also, most of the stock early E3-E9 wheels had the horn button in the hub rather than in the arms (like the one you are thinking of.)

I have one of the leather ones like in the pic to sell if anyone's interested.
