Tod--next week I'm having my compressor R/R'd on a system that is maintaining pressure (no apparent leaks at this point). I did some research to scope the level of damage IF that didn't do the trick. Assuming you're hearing all the right things, i.e. compressor clicking on, fluid flow through sight glass, etc., I'd suspect the expansion valve. The evaporator and the valve, I believe, are located best behind the dash, through the glove compartment. Where are you located? When I was trying to get my system fixed on the fly from WA to TX a few weeks ago, several folks gave me some great resources in the San Franscisco area. Did you stay with R-12 or transition to R-134?

I had my A/C system completely charged yesterday. The compressor kicks on but I get no cold air. Any ideas?
