Simon, I don't know what they're getting but as we speak, there's a auction on ebay for what sounds like what you've got: "BMW FACTORY SHOP MANUALS 3.0/CS/BAV/2800/2500 -- Item # 594027993". Current bid is $90 and the reserve hasn't been met yet. I'd stick the URL here but I'm having a senior moment 20 years early.
