I have the 3.3L with dual 38 DGAS weber carbs (I just removed triple 40 DCOEs). I can't say enough good things about the set up. At Ofest, I compared it to another owner's 3.5L with triple weber 45s. Performance was the same.

Can't help you with the pre-inspection mechanic as I am near Boston. Good luck!!

I'm wonder whether people have positive or negative feedback about having a 3.2 engine in their CS. I'm about to buy a CS with one with one in LA and would also appreciate any recommendations about a reputable mechanic in the area who could do a thorough pre-purchase inspection (I already have one name, but I'd like to have at least one more in case mine falls through).
Thanks
Adam
