a CS with 60k original miles? quiet a bit if it's really in good shape and all. Check that the odometer actually works! Just drive it a few miles and see if it even turns (who knows, maybe it quit at 60k). Another thing is that it could be 160k miles... they don't show more than 5 digits ; )
Chances are that if it's really a 60k mile car, parked always in a garage, etc, it won't be rusty (you're on the east coast, right? so it's more an issue there)

Thank you! Do you mean to look under the dashboard and/or actually in the glove compartment? I imagine the compartment would be sealed. Do you have an idea of what such a car should be worth?
just a few more places to look:
use a flashlight and climb into the glovebox and driver-side glovebox. look at the metal on the firewal, and above toward the A-pillars. That's reportedly a nasty place for rust.
if it has a sunroof, open it to make sure it's not rusted shut and then check the drains somehow (I think the go into the rear wheel wells? I can't remember). Also, look at the C-pillar roundels closely, as there may be rust under them for some reason.
I'd check the front and rear windshield seals. With 60k miles that should all be in good shape, you'd think.
if you're serious about the car, take it to a shop you trust to check it, especially one that will lift it up for you so you can look under it. If it's a CSi or Euro CS, ask about it's outside-US history.
