How many of those useless 2-position door spring holders have you replaced over the years (current price A$90ea) only to swing the door open, hear a 'crack' and find that it just swings everywhere? I reckon they're carefully constructed to break 3 days after the warranty is up...!

Why haven't they managed to invent something better. I know the ones I purchased 5 years ago are a different design than the ones I bought 10 years ago, but they just look different, they don't seem to be any more durable.
