The numbers don't count, it's the letters. The "H" on the Koufax CS indicates the plate is the perfect vintage for the car. I bought a 1969 1600-2 in December 1972 and the issued plate was 895GPN. I bought a Ford van in the first half of 1972 and the plate was 251FLE. The plate is absolutely correct for a 1973 3.0CS.
