I don't know how many CS's you've looked at so far, but as a general rule, see as many as you can before you buy one.

The more of them I looked at, the better I had an idea of where the trouble spots are, their values, etc.

If it helps, I bought mine a year ago: 1974 USA model, manual, no AC, has sunroof, no rust (really), but a lot of miles. $8k. This is in California.
