Don't take the rust in the rockers and the fenders lightly, the rockers are a 4 layer affair and more often than not, more than one piece on each side needs to be replaced. It's a time consuming repair too. Lots of rust can hide behind the sheetmetal screw-on rocker covers, too. Also, keep in mind new fenders will be $600+ if they need to be replaced. Not to dissuade you or dampen your enthusiasm for the car, but it's easy to drop a couple grand repairing what looks like minor rust on an otherwise straight coupe. On the other hand, it's also something you can use as a bargaining point.
