I agree with Plevi. If the system is fully charged and compressor is engaging, then most likely you have a blockage in the sytem. The expansion valve have screens on the the inlet side that can become plugged with debris. The debris usually comes from the receiver/drier (dessicant). Getting to the expansion valve is a very fun project....NOT! The only positive thing here is that you get the chance to clean the evaporator fins of crud that the fan sucked in.

As a test, turn on the A/C and rev the engine to high RPM...do you get some cooling? If so, then it is very likely that the expansion valve is blocked.

I had my A/C system completely charged yesterday. The compressor kicks on but I get no cold air. Any ideas?
