I agree with most others...keep the Zenith's. BTW, I have a complete '71 2.8 liter engine out of a 2800CS lying around (including the Zenith's) if you are ever in the need. However, I do not know the condition of the engine...it has not been run for probably 20 or so years. I also have complete front and rear suspensions and misc other stuff.


Hi I'm new here. Never done the messege boards thing. I just bought a '71 2800, and I have a couple of questions for anybody who wants to help.

1. I have heard that the triple webers are the way to go for replacing the zenith carbs. Is this accurate, or are there better options?

2. The rear shocks are done for. What kind of suspension would you folks suggest?

3. Does anyone know a mechanic in the Chicagoland area who does good work on E9's?
