and check to be sure that the voltage is actually getting past the fuse (voltage both sides of the fuse), then pull a door panel (10 minutes) and check if the window motor is getting current whith the switch activated. Use the wiring diagram and meter and trace connection by connection if the connection is "lost" somewhere.

My A/C and driver's window have stopped working and I don't know why. They are on the same fuse but the fuse is fine. The wire to the back of the fuse panel looked like it was getting hot, so I replaced the end of the wire, the female connector, and cleaned the male connector. No luck.

I noticed they had stopped working when I started the car with the A/C on. I had shut the car off with A/C on and didn't realize the switch was in the on position when I went to start the car.

The car is a '71 2800cs. It is for sale--let me know if you want info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
