Mark
I bought new hood and fender grills from BMW, the new parts come in black. I found a place in Canada that is vacuum plating the new parts. The charge including return freight was $95.00 for all 4 grills. I don't have them yet so I hesitae to pass the name along. Once I receive the grills if they look good I'll write you and pass the name and address along. As far as the taillights go, mine were in the same condition. I bought a roll of the polished aluminum HVAC tape, I cleaned and carefully applied tape to the surfaces that needed repair. They look great and with the lens in place you can't tell what's been done.
I'll be in touch when I receive the grills.

I decided this past weeekend to really clean the coupe. While doing that, I removed the chrome pieces on the hood and took the tail lights out to clean them as well. Questions--how, or can the chrome be replated on the hood (I think the pieces are plastic). I believe some coupes had these pieces painted silver while others were chrome. Second question, does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning the inside reflector parts of the tail lights--the chrome like pieces.

Thanks
