Its used on Automatic models. When the pedal is at a low point the kick down feature is activated on the trans. Not very good unfortunately but thats what it is.

please explain what this is. No Joke. The Owner manual speaks of it as if it is something special dealing with the accelerator. Help. Inquiring minds would like to be educated.
