But coupsters are VERY unlikely to hear about many of them, let alone see them OR get a chance to grab one up when it DOES become available. No offense, but we just seem too darn tight with the dollars! Last year the most original un-restored coupe I've ever seen, a early-model carbed-CSL with 40K kilometers (thats under 25000 miles Bubba!) was sold for around 40 g's after not a single coupster expressed serious interest in it! The buyer was a 50-something generic car chick with an inherited collection and healthy appetite for unrestored sports cars, regardless of their vintage. I'd seen the car, it was rust free, and the nearest thing to a 100% blem-free unrestored car of ANY vintage I've ever seen. So yes they do exist, Virginia...but like the beloved Royals, they're as ill-appreciated by their "fans" as the House of Windsor is in the UK.
