Mobile Traditions (BMW AG's historic wing) has released a factory manual on CD-ROM for $75. You can buy them at the dealer or from certain other places like http://www.koalamotorsport.com. I'm not sure how close they are to the paper manuals, but I cannot imagine they redid the manual with the limited market out there.
