It is illegal-you will be fined $10,000 per violation, and pollute the air horribly. Av Gas is only safe in airplanes that have special engines that mix the lead with the oil after combustion, so it can be safely disposed of. You need special valves to deal with leaded fuel as well, and all BMWs have unleaded valves.

Last time i got my avgas bill it was about $2.65 gal. It's blue if anyone asks.
