. Tetraethyl lead is highly poisonous and as little as a few drops can be absorbed into the skin and cause death in weeks or months.

NEVER put lead into a motor vehicle. It is illegal-you will be fined $10,000 per violation, and pollute the air horribly. Av Gas is only safe in airplanes that have special engines that mix the lead with the oil after combustion, so it can be safely disposed of. You need special valves to deal with leaded fuel as well, and all BMWs have unleaded valves.
